Hi, everyone!! I'm finally back and caught up after all the crazy travel last week. Can I just say, driving from Iowa to Wisconsin to Ohio and back to Iowa in less than a week will do a person in. I'm pooped! Luckily, everything went well and we made it to pick up all children involved. Now everyone is home and I can clean and do laundry...wait!?!?! ;) Luckily, I had a little time this morning to share a card I created before I left. I hope you enjoy it!
So, I created this card for the Lil' Inker Designs June release but then I didn't like. Well, I changed my mind again and now I do. Ha ha! I started by stamping my sentiment using the gorgeous Lovely and Sweet Stamps on a piece of vellum with Archival Ink. I cut my vellum with Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangle to frame my sentiment and then got to work adding extra touches in the corners using more stamps from Lovely and Sweet Stamps. I layered it on a piece of black cardstock also cut with Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangle and then layered the whole thing on a piece of patterned paper. I felt like it needed a little something more so I used my white gel pen to add some extra accents here and there. Here's a closer look:
Thanks so much for checking out my card today. I hope you are having an awesome week and are ready for a great weekend! See you soon!
I think you were right to like it again! :) I love the white accents you added too! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteNot one thing I don't like/love about this beauty in grey and yellow... the black lettering just pops with the white accents, Chrissy!
ReplyDeleteGosh you've driven so much I kinda feel guilty about that two hour drive! Just say the word and we'll make it another time - 'cuz you know there will be another time! xx

Ahhh...I think it is stunning. The color combo is gorgeous! Love the touch of white accents.
