CTS #160

Morning everyone!  I'm sitting at my desk enjoying my coffee and breathing a small sign of relief.  Drum lessons are cancelled for the day leaving me an extra hour of time I didn't know I'd have.  What to do.  Ha ha!  I should probably do some laundry or something else around the house but I'm going to take my time and enjoy a little slower of a morning than normal.  How's that?  ;)  Luckily, I get to share my card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge with you.

I used a paper from a Papertrey Ink paper pad as my background and I just love the watercolor stripes.  This combo of sentiment stamps from Winnie & Walter made for a super quick card.  Especially when I set it up on my Misti.  I felt like an assembly line and it was a great way to get caught up without feeling like I was sacrificing the style of a handmade card and it was just perfect for the sketch!

Please come join me and the rest of the team over at CAS(E) this Sketch for a super fun sketch this week.  I think you are going to love what the rest of the team created.  They are absolutely amazing!  I look forward to seeing more of you guys around the blog and hope you'll check back here soon!  Have a great Thursday!

  5. Hooray for cancelled drum lessons and gaining an extra hour in your day! :) I love the soft stripes in contrast with the black sentiment. If you hadn't told us that you used paper I would have thought you had stamped all those lines. This is a great tip for mass producing! Thank you, Chrissy.
