Lil' Inker Designs September Release Day #1

Hi, you guys!  It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you!  I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team.  It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store!  We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Caly's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations!  Make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog.  Now for the fun!

I decided start this release off by sharing the two tags I made.  I was really happy with how they turned out.  This first tags uses the new and awesome Harvest Moon Die.

I knew I wanted to create a tag with this die just to use it in a different way.  It is large so I needed to find something that would hold the full image and still work as a tag. The Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die was exactly the right fit.  The Harvest Moon Die image fit exactly right in the stitching on my soon to be tag and looked so cute with a black polka-dot sky peeking through the cutouts.  I needed some sort of sentiment and since I wanted to go more fall rather than Halloween with this, I chose a banner from the So Thankful Stamps.  A little coloring and fussy cutting later and I had a cute tag that was just waiting for some fun ribbons and gift.

My next tag uses the new Spooky Trees Dies.

I started this tag with a green/yellow paper that I cut with the Anytime Tags 2 to create my tag.  Next, I cut the Spooky Trees Dies from two shades of gray to layer on the tag.  I popped one tree up with foam tape to make room for my sneaky Ghost Shaker Die.  I cut my ghost from vellum and added a face with the FaBooLous Stamps.  Finally, I added a sentiment from Here For The Boos Stamps and some bling to finish off the tag.

You won't want to miss the awesome Gift With Purchase deal Laura has going on with this release.  Spend $75 and you can get the Zombie Kids Stamps and Dies FREE plus FREE SHIPPING!  All you have to do is add both the Zombie Kids Stamps and Zombie Kids Die to your cart and use the code FREEKIDS now through September 30, 2018 or while supplies last.  It's awesome!

Lil' Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop Day 3!

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products.  Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Heather's blog.  If you are feeling a little lost, make sure you hop back to the Lil' Inker Blog to get back on the trail of fun.  You can also check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the new release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart!

My first project is a little something sweet using the Valentine Word Tags Dies and the Love You Paper Pack.

I found this cute packaged cookie at a store and I thought it would be adorable all decked out with the new release items.  So I started by making a topper using this adorable paper from the new Love You Paper Pack which I cut using the Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die.  I scored and folded a portion of my cut over the edge of the cookie packaging but that left me wanting a little extra paper on the backside of the packaging.  I solved this by cutting a piece of patterned vellum with a Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles.  That gave me the perfect base.  I attached all of these to my cookie packaging and added some of the fancy hole protectors from Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die and tying a bow with some cute rope(?) I found at Target.  I knew this was the perfect spot for the Valentine Word Tags Dies.  So I cut one from patterned vellum and one from metallic red and layered them before adding them to my bow.  I finished it off with a little puffy heart.  Here's a closer look:

My next project uses the new Silly Stitched Die Set, Coffee Cozy Die Set, Coffee Cozy Stamps, and the Love You Paper Pack

I started this card with a piece of watercolor paper which I cut with the smaller rectangle from Silly Stitched Die Set.  I added two different sized circles to the rectangle also using Silly Stitched Die Set to create a spot for my water colored coffee stains.  I used my water brush and a mix of colors to paint my coffee rings over the silly stitching.  Next I cut my cup parts from various patterned papers including the new Love You Paper Pack using the Coffee Cozy Die Set.  I added my coffee cup to my arrangement of coffee rings and then stamped a sentiment from Coffee Cozy Stamps to finish off the focal point of my card.  I added some fun puffy hearts and then attached it to my card front which was another awesome paper from the Love You Paper Pack.

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop.  It could be you.  I hope you enjoyed out new release!  We love sharing these awesome products with you!  Be sure to keep hopping, here's the list:

Lil' Inker Designs October New Release Hop Day 2!

It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today!  I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items since, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store.  You should have come here from the amazing Karen Baker's blog.  Hopefully, you can still see after she blinded you with her awesomeness!  If you didn't, don't miss out on anything and make sure you start at the beginning of the hop by going to the Lil' Inker Blog.  For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!

First up, I made a cute card using the Ornamental Christmas Stamps and Ornamental Christmas Dies.

I started by creating a frame for my card using Dual Dotted Rectangles.  Then I cut two stockings out of my card front using the Ornamental Christmas Dies to make windows for a shaker card.  I then stamped my stocking in the center in black for a focal point using Ornamental Christmas Stamps.  After adhering acetate to my stocking windows, adding foam tape, and filling them with sequins, I added some fun black and white patterned paper as the background of my shakers.  I ended up with a simple, fun, and slightly elegant card.  Can't beat that!

Next, for a little more Christmas fun, I used the Oh My Ornament Dies and the All the Christmas You'll Ever Need Stamps to create this fun card.

I started by cutting ornament upon ornament from various colors of paper using the Oh My Ornament Dies.  I love being able to cut the hanger separate and I decided to use some silver paper for them to get a little shine on the card.  I cut a larger ornament from some glitter paper to hold my sentiment from the All the Christmas You'll Ever Need Stamps.  This set is serious all you could possible need sentiment wise and I LOVE how they are arranged and decorated.  There is a ton of fun to be had with this stamp set.  I strung my ornaments on some twine and hung my larger ornament from this twine with another piece of twin.  The ornament are free floating on this card and I think it adds just a little extra fun!

You get a third project today, can you believe it?  I just couldn't help myself from dressing up a gift bag with the Oh Deer Christmas Stamp Set.

I started this fun tag with a cut of red and a cut of vellum using the Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die.  I just love the shape of this for tags and it has the perfect spot for ribbon!  I stamped my deer image from Oh Deer Christmas Stamp Set in a permanent black ink and then colored on the backside of my vellum with copics.  I love how it gives an almost frosted look to the coloring.  Next, I embossed some of the snow around the edges of my tag with white embossing using some of the berry shapes for larger snow flakes.  I finished it off with a big red ribbon which looks just amazing on my chevron bag.

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop.  It could be you.  I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects.  See you then!

CTS #108

Woo hoo!!  I'm going to have a fully functional computer back in my possession this afternoon.  My eldest is rejoicing right along with me since I'm TOTALLY cramping his Minecrafting style.  ;)  Nothing like having to share your computer with your mom.  Ew!

Everyone in the house is on the mend, thank goodness.  I swear the coughing fits hung on forever.  My littlest just seemed SO poor coughing and hacking.  I hate feeling helpless when my boys don't feel well.  I swear there is nothing worse.  Luckily, grandma sent him a little gift to make him feel all better.  I think he likes it.  What do you think?

That giraffe, or "raff" as Micah calls them, is as big as he is!  Ha ha!  He drags him all over the house though.  It must be love.  ;)  You know what else is love?  The feeling I have for the next sketch.  Man, I'm rocking these transitions lately.  Ha ha.

This week's sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch is totally fun and really open to interpretation.  I think you'll be blown away by all the interesting takes the design team came up with so be sure to check out everyone's cards on the CAS(E) this Sketch blog.  You won't regret it!  Here's my take and the sketch.

I hope you like my take.  I decided to use the Lil' Inker Designs Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die in a bit of a different way today.  I cut it out of some fun floral paper and used the holes for a ribbon.  I layered this on some black cardstock that I had spruced up with the Quilted Swirl Stitch Pattern Die.  To finish off the card, I cut out the Hello Word Die in both black cardstock and fuchsia glitter paper.  I layered these two and stuck them to my floral panel.  I love how it all came together and I love how versatile the Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die is.  Can't beat that!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and will check out the rest of the team and play along with us at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Here's a look at the fun products I used on my card today.  See you again soon!

Lil' Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop Day 3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last few products but before we get into all that I have to make sure you are coming here after visiting Amy.  If not, head on over to the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a a stop on the hop.  You won't want to miss a thing!  While you are visiting the Lil' Inker Blog, make sure you go check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the January release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart.  Now it's time to show off these fantastic products!  I've packed in three projects and tons of products into this last day and I hope you like them.

First up, the only card I have for you today.  I used my new favorite rectangles, Stitched Mats:  Side-Stitched Rectangles, for my focal piece.  I stamped my cute little robots from the Robot Builder Stamp set in two shades of gray on my soft gray rectangle.  I just love these adorable robots and all the ways you can build them.  SO CUTE!  I decided that the new Doodled Love Word Die would be the perfect thing for my robot to be holding.  So I cut it twice in gray and once in a pink and layered them together for some fun.  Speaking of fun...Valentine's Day is just around the corner and so are school Valentine parties.  I used these awesome robots on my next fun project as well.

How cool is this Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die?  My boys just LOVE lollipops so I knew this was going to be tons of fun.  My first treat holder was die cut from some funky square patterned paper that I had sitting out because I loved the colors.  I decided to add a extra layer of fun to the holder by layering a piece of dulled gold paper embossed with the Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Die.  I love the look of that on the metallic paper.  Then I created my little robot friend with parts and a sentiment from Robot Builder.  After coloring my robot with some copics ever so slightly, I noticed the nut shaped hole re-enforcers in the Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die and knew that was exactly what would make this project pop.  Aren't they cute?  Well, I couldn't just stop at one treat holder.  So, I made another.

I went all pink with this one!  ;)  I used the amazing Hearts Banners Die Set to dress up my pink Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die.  I thought the banners would look great with glitter and they certainly do!  I love the girlie hole re-enforcers...SO pretty!  All this needed was a super cute sentiment and I had just the stamp set for that, All You Need is Love.
