LID Black Friday Sale & 25 Tags of Christmas

What a day to be part of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags. I get to share with your my tag AND an awesome Black Friday Sale going on at Lil' Inker Designs as we speak. First up, let me share the tag that I made to celebrate this awesome day!

I started by cutting my favorite tag of all my tag dies, Anytime Tags 2, from some wine colored cardstock. Next, I grabbed some gray cardstock and cut it with the Perfectly Plaid die and cut out a portion using the same Anytime Tags 2 to attach to my tag. I wanted to make a more masculine card so I pulled out my Rustic Christmas stamps and got to stamping and coloring before cutting them with Rustic Christmas dies. I layered my trees and adorable hatted bear on my tag before adding a sentiment with pearlized blue cardstock cut with the Merry Christmas Word Die. I finished the card off with some snowflakes and sequins. Here's a close up:

Lil' Inker Designs October Release Day 1

Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team. My first card today uses the gorgeous Classic Christmas Stamps along with the new Season's Greetings Word Die.

I started this card by stamping and coloring some images from Classic Christmas Stamps. I wanted to keep the colors a little soft because I wanted to use them with this woodgrain snowflake paper. When I got all the images colored and cut out, I felt it needed a little something more than just the beautiful rose gold sentiment cut with the Season's Greetings Word Die. So, I added a rectangle of vellum cut with the previously released Side-Stitched Rectangles. It was just enough to make the sentiment pop even more. I added some glossy accents here and there for a little extra shine. Here's a closer look:

My second card today uses the Pie Die Set and Hap-pie Thanksgiving Stamps.

I wanted to create a little sentiment of my own that reminded me of a chalkboard sentiment so this whole card started with that idea. First, I cut my tag using Anytime Tags 2 from kraft cardstock and stamped portions of my sentiment using the new Hap-pie Thanksgiving Stamps and an old favorite of mine, the So Thankful Stamps I added some of the cute images from the same sets to add a little more of that hand lettered feel. Then I got to building this card. I chose a fun plaid for the main patterned paper because the orange in it looked so pumpkin like and I knew I was going to use the little pie I made with the Pie Die Set on this card. I tried layering my pie with just the tag cut it wasn't looking how I wanted it to so I cute some green paper with a Long & Skinny Rectangle. I slide the top part of my tag under the border and it was the perfect banner now! I added some twine and my pumpkin to finish things off. Here's another look:

Lil' Inker Designs September Release Day #1

Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I decided start this release off by sharing the two tags I made. I was really happy with how they turned out. This first tags uses the new and awesome Harvest Moon Die.

I knew I wanted to create a tag with this die just to use it in a different way. It is large so I needed to find something that would hold the full image and still work as a tag. The Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die was exactly the right fit. The Harvest Moon Die image fit exactly right in the stitching on my soon to be tag and looked so cute with a black polka-dot sky peeking through the cutouts. I needed some sort of sentiment and since I wanted to go more fall rather than Halloween with this, I chose a banner from the So Thankful Stamps. A little coloring and fussy cutting later and I had a cute tag that was just waiting for some fun ribbons and gift.

My next tag uses the new Spooky Trees Dies.

I started this tag with a green/yellow paper that I cut with the Anytime Tags 2 to create my tag. Next, I cut the Spooky Trees Dies from two shades of gray to layer on the tag. I popped one tree up with foam tape to make room for my sneaky Ghost Shaker Die. I cut my ghost from vellum and added a face with the FaBooLous Stamps. Finally, I added a sentiment from Here For The Boos Stamps and some bling to finish off the tag.
