CTS #232

It's Thursday, Thursday, Thursday and I'm coming to you guys with my take on this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I really hope you'll enjoy it and have a blast creating with it.  I sure did.  Don't miss out on our amazing guest designer's creation and the rest of the team always has tons of gorgeous creations for you!

I hope you are all enjoying your week and that you are having a chance to relax and have some fun.  Things have slowed down here and we are taking full advantage of it.  I'm not at all ready for school to start and luckily, we have a few weeks.  How's your summer going?  Hopefully, awesome!

I had a blast creating for this sketch because I had just received some new stamps from The Stamp Market.  I looked at how the sketch looks like different layers in that stripe across the front and I just happened to have the perfect set to use to recreate that.  Here's my card:

I loved the fun patterns in the Perfect Pieces Stamp Set and got to work layering the dots and the swipe of color.  Once layered, I wanted to tidy up my stamping at the top where they come together so I added a thin strip of teal cardstock to give a definite edge.  Next, I stamped my sentiment from UR Amazing in black but decided it needed a little something extra.  I decided to shadow the sentiment with teal and I loved the look when I finished.  Here's a close up:

Thanks so much for checking out my card today and I can't wait to see what you come up with over at CAS(E) this Sketch!  See you there!
