It's Thursday, Thursday, Thursday and I'm coming to you guys with my take on this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. I really hope you'll enjoy it and have a blast creating with it. I sure did. Don't miss out on our amazing team's takes on the sketch. They always has tons of gorgeous creations for you! I actually got down and made a card for you guys and, lucky for me, my cat helped. I bet you can see exactly where he was so helpful...

Yup, I stamped the sentiment in pigment ink (I can't remember the exact set this Hello came from because it has been on a block on my desk FOREVER!) and my sweet kitty "helped" me dry the sentiment. So, it is a little smeared but I still love the card. I used a paper pack from The Stamp Company and actually used the cover of the paper pack to get the stripes and used some border dies to cut them in a wave like pattern. I finished the card off with some puffy star stickers. Here's a closer look at my smear! Ha ha!

Good morning and happy spring!!  It is finally feeling like spring weather is on it's way and I can't wait.  I am ready to get the garden beds going and see the farmers out in the fields working.  As busy as life gets during spring planting, I can't help but love being a part of it.  It's always a fun time.  Another fun time...the new CAS(E) this Sketch challenge this week.  You won't want to miss it!  Here's my take:

I ordered new inks from The Stamp Market the other day even thought I have been trying to remind myself that I don't need more inks!! However, I just couldn't stop myself and I blame it on one too many pretty rainbow card on their blog. So, for this card I decided to use my new colors. I stamped them all out and this color combo just drew me right in. They stamp super nicely with nice solid saturation and the colors are AMAZING! I used the solid heart to swatch them out and I liked it so much, I used it on my card as well. It's from a The Stamp Market set also and I link it below. The hardest part of this card was deciding just how much to overlap my hearts to make them all fit. Here's a closer look:

Now, the colors look pretty in these pictures but I only had lamp light to photograph them. I will try to get a picture in the sunlight today and post on my Instagram so you can really get a feel for how pretty they are! Hi, everyone!! How's your week going? Things are ramping up here again. School is in full swing, cross country, gymnastics, confirmation, drum lessons, bowling...you name it, we are running to it. The crazy thing is, I feel more sane when the school year starts then when we can supposedly just chill in the summer. The school year is predictable for me and the summer always gets busier than I expect it to be. Crazy how that works. I hope you are all settling into a routine and having a great week!

I was SO excited to see this sketch because I have been dying to use this adorable car set from The Stamp Market. It has so many cute stamps and can be used for so many different occasions plus it is just darn cute. I decided to stack on the presents and make a card that could be used for anything we could possibly need to celebrate. I kept my coloring nice and light and just tried to let the image really shine. Good morning!  I hope you've checked out this morning's post over at CAS(E) this Sketch!  The challenge this week is great!  Of course, they always are!  If you are stopping by after seeing my card over there...thanks so much!  I'm flattered that you wanted to see how I made my crazy creation.  :)  You guys are awesome!  Here's what I created for this week:

My card today is super simple and I love how it turned out. I used some papers from an adorable paper pack from Honey Bee Stamps (which happens to be on sale in my link below). I loved that they were the same pattern in different colors so I matched them up with I added the strip of yellow. I used some vellum stamped with a sentiment from The Stamp Market and added a strip of black to finish off the look. Super duper simple. Here's a closer look:

Good morning!  It's the first day of school here and this year I only have one little guy staying home with me.  The oldest is a freshman and is driving to school now and the middle guy is a 6th grader.  Boy, how time flies.  This week flew by also and it's time for another CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I had a great time with this one and I know you will too.  Here's my creation:

I decided to use the Hello Hello Stamp Set from The Stamp Market in two ways on this card.  I used the lined hello to create a faint background by stamping it on my stone card base with Versamark.  Then I used the solid Hello to create my sentiment border as in the sketch.  I stamped and fussy cut the flower and leaf to add in place of the sketch's heart.  I thought it needed just a touch more black so I added a strip along the right side.  That's it!  Here's a closer look:
