Valentines mailboxes

We have been hard at work crafting my two older boys' Valentine mailboxes. My preschooler came home with an ice cream bucket to decorate for his mailbox. He was SO excited and had very specific ideas about how it was going to look. He wanted it to be pink and painted. I, of course, had no pink pain on hand so we went to Hobby Lobby for spray paint and stickers. After I sprayed the bucket and let it dry, Abram when to town on it with stickers and bling! He had a blast!!!

I designed the topper on my Gypsy and cut it out of two different pinks. Finally, I trimmed the edge of the lid with some ribbon and, viola, a perfect mommy and Abram craft!

Isaac (my oldest) wanted a robot box. So, yesterday we went about crafting it. We covered the box with some metallic silver cardstock I had and then set to work designing the robot. We used cuts from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge to make our robot fact. With only the face attached, I knew he needed something to make him look more like a robot. I found two empty ribbon spools and covered the inside with pink cardstock. We adhered the "ears" to the sides of the robot's head and he looked perfect. Isaac added some heart stickers and we were done. He's super excited to take this to school for his party!

I hope you enjoyed our boxes! Have a great day!
