Lil' Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop Day 1!

Hi, you guys!  It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you!  I think you are really going to enjoy this release.  It's packed with fun, as always!  I can't wait to show off all the new release goodies and, lucky for you, they are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store!  We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Sarah's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter!  So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog.  Now for the fun!

My first projects is super sweet and I created it using Lovie Friends Stamp Set, Lovie Friends Die Set, Dual Dotted Hearts Dies, and the amazing new Love You Paper Pack.

I found this adorable bottle in the dollar spot at Target and filled it with conversation hearts.  I tied matching stitching floss around the top of the bottle to hold my layered Dual Dotted Hearts Dies, cut from the Love You Paper Pack, as a cute tag.  I just couldn't wait to color this sweet kitty from Lovie Friends Stamp Set and I cut her out using the Lovie Friends Die Set.  I'm telling you, these animals are SO sweet!  You are going to love them all.  To finish off my tag, I created at little banner and stamped a sentiment from Lovie Friends Stamp Set on it.  Yum!

Next up, I created a card using the Lovie Friends Stamp Set, Lovie Friends Die Set, and the recently re-released Pinwheel Sentiments Stamps.

I started this card with a light blueish card base embossed with the Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Die.  I layered this fun patterned vellum cut using Border Builders Die Set over my card base.  Next I stamped, diecut, and colored my raccoon from Lovie Friends Stamp Set and using Lovie Friends Die Set.  I started working on my pinwheel in matching colors using the Mini Pinwheel Die. I finished it off with a sentiment from Pinwheel Sentiments Stamps and some heart stickers.

I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop.  You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop.  It could be you.  I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects.  See you then!

Lil' Inker Designs August Monthly Meetup

It's that time again!  Time for this month's, Lil' Inkers Designs' Monthly Meet Up Challenge.  I'm ready to get started.  This challenge is super special this month because it's Lil' Inker Designs' 5th birthday!!!  We are celebrating with a fun new release stamp and die set that you are going to want in your collection!  I can't wait to share my card and see what you guys create for this awesome link up!  Let's get this party started!  I'll get to all the nitty gritty of the challenge after I show you the fun new birthday products and my creation.

Are you ready for a super fun birthday release?  The Birthday Balloons Greetings Stamps and Dies are available today so you can join in the fun.  These are SO cool!  The stamps have the most awesome sentiments and designs inside the image.  I just love them!  The dies are awesome to use with the stamps and on their own.  There is SO much fun to be had, just check out my card.

I started my card with some fun cloud paper as my background then cut a piece of paper from the Ombre Stripes paper pack to pop up with some foam tape.  Then I cut some balloons using the Birthday Balloons Greetings Dies and cutting my images from colored vellum, navy paper which was impressed with the Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Die and finally out of white for stamping my Birthday Balloons Greetings Stamps image on.  After deciding how I would layer these balloons, I stamped my strings and attached the balloons.  I finished the card off with some stars and sparkle bling.  I hope you like it!

CTS #108

Woo hoo!!  I'm going to have a fully functional computer back in my possession this afternoon.  My eldest is rejoicing right along with me since I'm TOTALLY cramping his Minecrafting style.  ;)  Nothing like having to share your computer with your mom.  Ew!

Everyone in the house is on the mend, thank goodness.  I swear the coughing fits hung on forever.  My littlest just seemed SO poor coughing and hacking.  I hate feeling helpless when my boys don't feel well.  I swear there is nothing worse.  Luckily, grandma sent him a little gift to make him feel all better.  I think he likes it.  What do you think?

That giraffe, or "raff" as Micah calls them, is as big as he is!  Ha ha!  He drags him all over the house though.  It must be love.  ;)  You know what else is love?  The feeling I have for the next sketch.  Man, I'm rocking these transitions lately.  Ha ha.

This week's sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch is totally fun and really open to interpretation.  I think you'll be blown away by all the interesting takes the design team came up with so be sure to check out everyone's cards on the CAS(E) this Sketch blog.  You won't regret it!  Here's my take and the sketch.

I hope you like my take.  I decided to use the Lil' Inker Designs Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die in a bit of a different way today.  I cut it out of some fun floral paper and used the holes for a ribbon.  I layered this on some black cardstock that I had spruced up with the Quilted Swirl Stitch Pattern Die.  To finish off the card, I cut out the Hello Word Die in both black cardstock and fuchsia glitter paper.  I layered these two and stuck them to my floral panel.  I love how it all came together and I love how versatile the Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die is.  Can't beat that!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and will check out the rest of the team and play along with us at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Here's a look at the fun products I used on my card today.  See you again soon!

Lil' Inker Designs January Release Blog Hop Day 3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last few products but before we get into all that I have to make sure you are coming here after visiting Amy.  If not, head on over to the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a a stop on the hop.  You won't want to miss a thing!  While you are visiting the Lil' Inker Blog, make sure you go check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the January release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart.  Now it's time to show off these fantastic products!  I've packed in three projects and tons of products into this last day and I hope you like them.

First up, the only card I have for you today.  I used my new favorite rectangles, Stitched Mats:  Side-Stitched Rectangles, for my focal piece.  I stamped my cute little robots from the Robot Builder Stamp set in two shades of gray on my soft gray rectangle.  I just love these adorable robots and all the ways you can build them.  SO CUTE!  I decided that the new Doodled Love Word Die would be the perfect thing for my robot to be holding.  So I cut it twice in gray and once in a pink and layered them together for some fun.  Speaking of fun...Valentine's Day is just around the corner and so are school Valentine parties.  I used these awesome robots on my next fun project as well.

How cool is this Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die?  My boys just LOVE lollipops so I knew this was going to be tons of fun.  My first treat holder was die cut from some funky square patterned paper that I had sitting out because I loved the colors.  I decided to add a extra layer of fun to the holder by layering a piece of dulled gold paper embossed with the Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Die.  I love the look of that on the metallic paper.  Then I created my little robot friend with parts and a sentiment from Robot Builder.  After coloring my robot with some copics ever so slightly, I noticed the nut shaped hole re-enforcers in the Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die and knew that was exactly what would make this project pop.  Aren't they cute?  Well, I couldn't just stop at one treat holder.  So, I made another.

I went all pink with this one!  ;)  I used the amazing Hearts Banners Die Set to dress up my pink Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die.  I thought the banners would look great with glitter and they certainly do!  I love the girlie hole re-enforcers...SO pretty!  All this needed was a super cute sentiment and I had just the stamp set for that, All You Need is Love.
