CTS #389

Hi, everyone!! How's your week going? Things are ramping up here again. School is in full swing, cross country, gymnastics, confirmation, drum lessons, bowling...you name it, we are running to it. The crazy thing is, I feel more sane when the school year starts then when we can supposedly just chill in the summer. The school year is predictable for me and the summer always gets busier than I expect it to be. Crazy how that works even with a pandemic. I hope you are all settling into a routine and having a great week!

This week's sketch was a fun one. It was really fun to work with an older sketch and I just love everything the team created. You can check out the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch. Here's my card:

 

 I got to play with my new stencil set from The Greetery today and it was SO much fun. I did try a ton of different black/gray combos and I'm still not sure this is "the one" but I'm going to keep trying more combos. That's half the fun, right? Once I got a background I likes, I layered on some black and green cardstock strips and lined up my green alpha stickers. Next, I embossed my flower in both green and white embossing powder and filled in the petals with a white gel pen. I finished it off with a yellow enamel dot. Here's a closer look:
