In case you didn't notice over on the CAS(E) this Sketch blog, I'm running a little behind today. Ha ha! I somehow completely forgot that today is Thursday. That happens when you are homeschooling. The days seem to run all together and before you know it, another week is gone. Hopefully, all is right with the world again and the post is live for all of you who just can't wait to play along. We love having you. Here's my take on this week's sketch:
For this card, I used an older Concord & 9th set called Beautiful Branches that is no longer available. Sorry about that! I stamped the branch twice with black ink and then the leaves in various shades of green on watercolor paper just for the texture. I trimmed it down and attached it to a green card base. Then I stamped my sentiment in black on a piece of vellum to create a cuff around the card front. I added little strips of black to the front to edge my cuff of vellum and that was it! Here's a closer look:
Thanks so much for checking out my card and I hope you will join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch.
