 Good afternoon you guys! Yup, I'm a little late getting my card posted. I realized this morning that I made a card but didn't photograph it. It's not easy to resolve that problem at 6:00 in the morning when the sun is still down. Don't worry though, I finally got a picture or two and can share my card. I had a blast with this week's CAS(E) this Sketch card but created something that wasn't at all what I had in mind when I first looked at the sketch. Who knows what I was thinking...ha ha. Here's what I finally came up with:

 I did some fun masking on this card because I tried a million different things to make these strips and I didn't like any of them! I think I was just overly complicating things so I dialed it WAY back. I masked off my white card base leaving three rectangle openings. Then I used a "joy" stamp and played with my inks stamping them full strength or blotting them off before stamping to get lighter colors. I didn't do a great job of fitting them all in so I filled the holes in my words by stamping with the eraser on a pencil to get a circle. I added the row of black dots leading to my sentiment before spelling out "joy" with some gold Thickers and adding a sentiment strip on top to finish it all off. Here's a closer look:
