The Simple Swirl Die is SO simple that it almost stumped me in for to use it. I thought about using it as a flourish inside the card or on an envelope and about a million other ideas but none of them was the right way for me. Then I had an idea to try to make a border with multiple cuts. I started with two scored lines on my stone card base to help me keep everything straight and lined up. Then I started cutting the Simple Swirl Die over and over again from black and layering them one by one in a row on my card. So far, so good but you could see the little spots where they came together and I wanted those covered up. To fix it, I cut a piece of black card stock just big enough to run down and make a consistent joint and then I needed a bit of color so I added a smaller turquoise strip. I finished it off with a sentiment from the Sing It Clear Stamp Set. Here's a closer look:
