Chrissy's Christmas Catchup #9

Good morning!  I'm running a little behind this morning but for tons of good reasons.  Ha ha!  I've been enjoying a much more relaxing week this week and I guess, I'm taking full advantage of the extra time on my hands to really enjoy the fun of the season and the joy I see every day in my boys' eyes.  Today we are going to get down and dirty with some cookie making.  Can't wait!

I've also been having a great time making Christmas projects to share with you guys.  Here's what I have for you today.

I created these tag gift card holders for some special ladies in my life.  They keep me smiling everyday and I'm so blessed to have such awesome friends.  When I started making my tags, I knew I wanted a smaller size than any of the giftcard holder dies that I had on hand so I decided to create my own using some other dies.  I started with the large tag cut from this fun geometric paper using Anytime Tags Die Set 2.  To make a pocket for my gift card, I matched a cut from Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles that was the same width as my tag and joined them together with a slim strip of adhesive along the three sides to create a pocket.  I stamped my sentiment from the new revamped Coffee Cozy Stamps on my tag.  To finish it off, I cut my cup using coordinating papers and the new Coffee Cozy Die Set.  I LOVE the stitched steam!!!  The final touch was a vellum snowflake cut using Snowflake Dies.
