Back In Black & Day 4/5

I'm busy playing catch up with my Stretch Your Stamps class and decided to incorporate CAS-ual Fridays Back in Black challenge into my Day 4 homework!  Day 4's class was all about using graphic stamps and one of those ways was to make them pop with white embossing powder.  What better way to make it pop than by doing that on a black cardbase?  I'm telling you, these two challenges couldn't have been better suited to each other!  Check it out:


Stamps: Poppy Bottles (Stampendous), Squares Plus (Clear and Simple Stamps)
Inks:  Tuxedo Black (Momento), Pure Poppy (PTI), VersaMark
Paper:  True Black (PTI), Solar White (Neenah)
Misc:  Copic Markers, Glossy Accents, White Embossing (Ranger)

Next up is my card for Day 5.  Sentiment stamps were up for exploration and I had a hard time choosing a technique to try.  I decided to go with a window for the sentiment to peek through.  Check it out:

Stamps: Framed Fonts (Avery Elle), Sunburst (Clear and Simple Stamps)
Dies:  Oval Die (PTI)
Inks:  Harvest Gold, Dark Chocolate (PTI)
Paper:  Dark Chocolate Paper Pack (PTI)
Misc:  Hexagon and Wavy Fabric Elements (Basic Grey), Bling

    You are so right about the combination of these challenges... the white graphic patterns look awesome on the black base. I love how you've incorporated a splash of red too and great sentiment based card...I'm enjoying the inspiration from class as well although yet to try any of the ideas.... so little time :0(
