Today I decided to show you what I created with the Forever Heart Die Layer I and Forever Heart Die Layer II.

I just love how these new dies work.  I love that they work together or separately giving you so many options!  For this card I decided to create by background using Forever Heart Die Layer I and Forever Heart Die Layer II together.  I used black and then layered that onto a kraft card base.  Next, I cut parts of my sentiment from white card stock using Valentine's Word Tags Dies and the forever from Forever Heart Die Layer I.  Then I cut a heart from the Love You More Balloons & Hearts Die Set and the "you" portion of my sentiment from Mini Envelopes Dies & Accessories both using pink card stock.  Then, I layered everything up and I loved the finished look of it.  Here's another peek:

My next card uses Forever Heart Die Layer II alone and paired with Farm Love Stamps and Farm Love Dies.

This time I used the Forever Heart Die Layer II on some watercolor paper.  I masked off the heart portion and stamped a fun pattern on the background using the Unstoppable Stamps.  Then I did a little messy water coloring inside the heart.  Then I got to work coloring the cute little group of animals I had stamped with Farm Love Stamps.  When I had them all colored, I cut them out with the Farm Love Dies and grouped them on my card with a vellum banner I had stamped with my sentiments from Farm Love Stamps.  Here's a closer look:

Lil' Inker Designs January Release Day #1

Hi, you guys!  It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you!  I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team.  It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store!  We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Amy's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter!  So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog.  Now for the fun!

My first card uses the awesome Love Is Love Stamps and Quilted Stitched XOXO Die

The idea for this card came to me while driving my middle son to gymnastics!  Don't you love when inspiration strikes in the strangest of places?  I pulled up behind an SUV and on the back window was the American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "I love you" created with plain straight lines and a heart in the palm.  Besides feeling super happy that someone has so much love in them that they would drive around with such an awesome window sticker, it totally inspired me to see if I could create an equally unique take on the ASL sign.  So, I dug through my stamps to find the perfect heart and I found it in the Love You More Stamp set.  It was curved just right to look like a palm.  So, I stamped it in the center of my card stock using some red ink.  Next, I needed some fingers.  I looked and looked and finally decided to dissect my Unstoppable Stamps to create a thumb and four fingers.  It turned out just right!  Next, I needed a sentiment and the new Love Is Love Stamps was just the right fit.  I stamped and embossed the solid "LOVE" with white across my hand and then followed that up with the outline "LOVE" embossed in black.  Then, I added the rest of the sentiment embossed in black also.  I debated adding "in every language" to the sentiment but figured it was busy enough.  Now, what to do with this image?  I decided to layer it on a card front I created using the new Quilted Stitched XOXO Die with both red and black layers.  I love the fun and subtle pattern because it would detract from my main image which I cut out using a Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares which I added just a small border of black to make it pop against the red.  Here's another peek:

I was having so much fun with the Love Is Love Stamps that I decided to use it again but this time paired with the Love Is Love Dies.

My last card took so much thinking and planning that I decided to go simple with this next card.  I love pink and black together so I decided to go with that for this card.  I cut the Love Is Love Dies from a pink card stock and stamped the remainder of my sentiment using the Love Is Love Stamps. I decided to add a trail of hearts to the bottom before layering the pink on a black card base and adding the center of the "o" back to the card.  I finished it all off with a simple black heart from the Love Is Love Dies in the "v".  Talk about simple!  Here's a closer look:

Another Take on the Lil' Inker Designs Mini Release

Good morning everyone!  I made a few too many projects for the Lil' Inker Designs May Mini Release Blog Hop yesterday so I decided to have a little extra fun with them today!  If you missed out on the hop, make sure to check it out on the Lil' Inker Blog.  These still time to be one of the the three lucky winners receiving some of the fun products from this release.  You can read all about it on the main blog.  For now, here are a couple more projects I created using the mini release.

First, a more monochromatic look at Be the Reason Someone Smiles Today.

This card seriously couldn't have been any easier.  I simple found some cool background paper, stamped the sentiment, Be the Reason Someone Smiles Today, and trimmed around it leaving a small border.  Then I attached it to the card front with foam tape.  Simple and easy but I love how it looks!  Here's a closer look:

Finally, my second take on the Stitched Cloud Cover Up and the Angel Pets Stamps and Dies.

I really love the Angel Pets Stamps and Angel Pet Dies.  They are so unique and I really love how the wings can be added or you can simple use the pet images on their own.  It makes this set so versatile.  I started with a crazy combo of patterned papers making a card base using the navy and white stripes and creating a panel using pink striped paper imprinted with the Stitched Cloud Cover Up and cut using Dual Stitched Rectangles.  I created my sentiment strip by cutting vellum with Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles and stamping the sentiment in Archival Ink and heat setting it.  I cut the splattered heart using Love You More Hearts & Balloons Dies.  I love the different shape for it and the size was just right for grounding my doggie who was stamped using Angel Pets Stamps and cut using Angel Pet Dies.  I colored him with copics and added a little shine with a stardust gel pen.  An enamel heart finished it off.  Here's a closer peek:

Thanks again for for checking out my projects!  I hope you enjoyed them and I can't wait to see what you create with this awesome new release.  Here are the products I used today:
