Lil' Inker Designs January Release Day #3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products.  Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Amy's blog.  If you are feeling a little lost, make sure you hop back to the Lil' Inker Blog to get back on the trail of fun.  You can also check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the new release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart!

My first card on this final day uses the Perfect Pairs 2 Stamps, Perfect Pairs 2 Die Set, and Quilted Stitched All Hearts Die as well as the previously released Love Is Love Stamps.

This card turned out SO cute.  I had my inks all scattered about my desk and these four colors were close together.  I thought it would be a fun starting point to this card so I stamped the "LOVE" from Love Is Love Stamps repeatedly on a strip of white paper to create a background for my little couple.  Next, I stamped the pie and whip cream from the Perfect Pairs 2 Stamps, colored it, and cut it using the Perfect Pairs 2 Die Set.  I added some shine to these with Glossy Accents and added them to my strip of love.  I added a quick sentiment from Perfect Pairs 2 Stamps beneath the cute pair.  I layered this on some teal paper and right before adding it to a kraft card base, I realized that I needed some texture and I just love the look of the new Quilted Stitched All Hearts Die.  Here's a closer look:

My final card today features the Quilted Stitched All Hearts Die and the Perfect Pairs Additions Stamps as well as one of my favorites, the previously released Perfect Pairs Stamps, Perfect Pairs Die Set.

I started by stamping and coloring this adorable dynamic duo from Perfect Pairs Stamps and cutting them out with the coordinating Perfect Pairs Die Set.  This has long been one of my favorites and I love having a new set and extra sentiments to use with them!  Next, my little guys needed a landing space so I added some texture to a black piece of card stock using the Quilted Stitched All Hearts Die and then decided a full piece of black was a little too dark to add over the patterned heart paper I had picked so, I grabbed an old Lil' Inker Wrapper die and cut out the sunburst.  I added a strip of white for my sentiment from the new Perfect Pairs Additions Stamps and then layered everything up before adding some enamel hearts.  Here's a closer look:

I'm so glad you've been hopping with me for this whole release.  I love having you here!  Thanks for checking me out and don't forget about our giveaway!

Lil' Inker Designs October Release Day #3

Well, it's the last day of our new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm super excited to show off these last couple products.  Hopefully, you started out at the the Lil' Inker Blog so you don't miss a stop on the hop and have come here from the amazing Amy's blog.  If you are feeling a little lost, make sure you hop back to the Lil' Inker Blog to get back on the trail of fun.  You can also check out the Lil' Inker Store where all of the new release goodies, and a whole lot more, are ready and waiting for you to put in your cart!

My first card uses the super cool Love & Honey Stamps and the Love & Honey Hearts Dies.

I love the flowers in this awesome set and I knew I wanted to make a background with it.   So, I used the solid floral heart from Love & Honey Stamps to create a black and white background.  Then I added a black strip across the card embossed with a pink "love" from the stamp set.  Then I added a white strip stamped with the hearts and win from the Love Is Love Stamps.  Next, I stamped and cut the same image using the Love & Honey Hearts Dies.  I colored them with bright colors to really pop with the black and white.  I added this to my card front with foam tape.  Here's a closer look:

My next project uses the the Love You More Than Words Script Heart Die.

This card couldn't have been more easy and it actually came about by accident.  I was going to cut the Love You More Than Words Script Heart Die from white cardstock for a different idea I had in mind.  Without paying attention, I put a folded card through with the die rather than a single piece of cardstock.  The result was the cut layer clinging to the uncut bottom layer.  I loved how it looked but wanted more contrast than white on white so I repeated that idea with two shades of gray.  I did add some glue here and there to make sure it stays stuck but it took some prying in parts to get the layers apart.  I toyed with the idea of just going with that as my card but I wanted to see how it would look if I fussy cut around the words.  I gave it a go and I loved the end result.  I wanted to keeps the rest of the card simple so I just used a stone card base and added a layered strip to ground everything.  Foam tape did the dimensional layering for me and it was good to go.  Here's a closer look:

My final card today uses the Galentine's Day Stamps.

I just loved this little tote back and was going to create an entire card background with them stamped and colored in different ways.  Instead, I stamped the totes from Galentine's Day Stamps and colored them before trimming them into a border I layered with coordinating card stocks.  I added this to a stone base but I thought it still needed some so I trimmed off some edges and added it to a black card front.  Then, I colored and glossy accented a tote to add with my sentiment banners and some enamel hearts.  Here's a closer look:

Lil' Inker Designs January Release Day #1

Hi, you guys!  It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you!  I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team.  It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store!  We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Amy's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter!  So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog.  Now for the fun!

My first card uses the awesome Love Is Love Stamps and Quilted Stitched XOXO Die

The idea for this card came to me while driving my middle son to gymnastics!  Don't you love when inspiration strikes in the strangest of places?  I pulled up behind an SUV and on the back window was the American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "I love you" created with plain straight lines and a heart in the palm.  Besides feeling super happy that someone has so much love in them that they would drive around with such an awesome window sticker, it totally inspired me to see if I could create an equally unique take on the ASL sign.  So, I dug through my stamps to find the perfect heart and I found it in the Love You More Stamp set.  It was curved just right to look like a palm.  So, I stamped it in the center of my card stock using some red ink.  Next, I needed some fingers.  I looked and looked and finally decided to dissect my Unstoppable Stamps to create a thumb and four fingers.  It turned out just right!  Next, I needed a sentiment and the new Love Is Love Stamps was just the right fit.  I stamped and embossed the solid "LOVE" with white across my hand and then followed that up with the outline "LOVE" embossed in black.  Then, I added the rest of the sentiment embossed in black also.  I debated adding "in every language" to the sentiment but figured it was busy enough.  Now, what to do with this image?  I decided to layer it on a card front I created using the new Quilted Stitched XOXO Die with both red and black layers.  I love the fun and subtle pattern because it would detract from my main image which I cut out using a Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares which I added just a small border of black to make it pop against the red.  Here's another peek:

I was having so much fun with the Love Is Love Stamps that I decided to use it again but this time paired with the Love Is Love Dies.

My last card took so much thinking and planning that I decided to go simple with this next card.  I love pink and black together so I decided to go with that for this card.  I cut the Love Is Love Dies from a pink card stock and stamped the remainder of my sentiment using the Love Is Love Stamps. I decided to add a trail of hearts to the bottom before layering the pink on a black card base and adding the center of the "o" back to the card.  I finished it all off with a simple black heart from the Love Is Love Dies in the "v".  Talk about simple!  Here's a closer look:
