Something else that I have learned is that our CAS(E) this Sketch challenge for the week is awesome and I am really bad and sticking to the sketch. The sketch is super fun and the cards the team created are AWESOME! I hope you'll check it out. Here's the card I created using the sketch...kinda but close enough:
Since cleaning and organizing my stamps, I have found tons of things to play with that I forgot about. This card is fairly clean and simple using one of Frantic Stamper's Vertical Christmas Triptych Panels as the main focal point. I cut it in craft and layered it with portions from another panel to add shining stars. An ombre backdrop reminded me of desert sand which finished it off well. I added some pattern to my card base with the Diagonal Stripe Stencil and Versamark Ink. The main image is grounded with some vellum strips and a small sentiment from the Retro Label Maker Christmas Sentiments. Here's a closer look:
I hope you guys are having a great week and will join us at CAS(E) this Sketch.

Oh how I know home school is challenging!! I am a paraprofessional who is supporting HS age special education students that are mainstreamed. I Google meet with them to help them organize assignments, as well as sit in meetings teaching them the information, which means hours of learning it, which I am NOT used to. It has been a challenge but I am happy I have a job still so I am good!
ReplyDeleteYour card is amazing!! I LOVE the dark blue and your strip of torn vellum behind the die cut scene. I also like the way you backed it with the ombre background. STUNNING design!
Wow, Nora! Thank you for the amazing work you do. That sounds extremely challenging and I'm so thankful for people like you in the world!
