I hope you are having a great week and are ready to play along with us. I love this sketch and I couldn't wait to get creating. Here's my take:
I have been dying to use this adorable woodland card kit from Simon Says Stamp. I just adore that darn hedgehog. I started the whole thing for a different card actually but then I liked the way it layed out for this card better. I stamped and masked my hedgehog before stamping the birch trees, then I colored it all with copics. I trimmed the little scene down to fit in the corner and added a bit of the backside of my patterned paper used for the card base that I had cut off when sizing it for my card base. It was the perfect way to make the trees standout against my busy background. Next, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of black card stock and created a little banner to add. I used foam tape to get some dimension and then finished it off with some wood and one enamel heart. Here's a closer look:
Thanks so much for checking out my card today! You can join us this week at CAS(E) this Sketch. We'd love to have you!
