I'm just getting things all wrapped up for Christmas and I actually feel like I'm ahead of the game this year. I'm still in denial the Christmas is rapidly approaching. I swear it still feels like October to me.
This past weekend was the church Christmas Program and with that behind me, I can relax. I stress about it every year and every year, it goes smoothly. It is done and now I can have some fun. Speaking of fun, have you see the new sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch? The design team has some AMAZING creations this week and you simply have to check them out. While you are here, here's my take:
I started with this awesome snowflake from Concord and 9th stamped on cream card stock with a brown ink and cut with the die. I layered it on a piece of torn vellum that I had intended for a different card. Next, I stamped the sentiment and set it aside to dry. I looked through my paper collection and found this awesome snowflake paper from Honey Bee Stamps and created my card base using it as the background. I cut a small strip of gold paper and then started layering my bits and pieces to get this card. Here's a closer look:
Thanks so much for checking out my card and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and make a little time to join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch.
