CTS #335

Good morning, you guys! Things are starting to settle down just a tad as we get ready to start school next week. I can't believe the summer is already over! I know my boys are ready to get to school and hang out with their friends again and I'm ready to have a somewhat normal schedule again. So, I guess it isn't all bad that we are putting summer behind us. I hope that you guys have been enjoying your time off also. I also hope that we have kept you busy with our sketches over at CAS(E) this Sketch! Make sure to check out this week's sketch and the amazing cards the team has created. Here's mine for the week:

Another simple card from me this week. I'm still trying to use up some of the parts and pieces of kits that I have purchased over the years. I found this water color look patterned papers and decide it was the perfect starting point. Next, I added some washi strips to the bottom. They looked great on the paper as they had a very similar look to them. To add some sort of solid form to the card, I added a strip of black card stock popped up with some foam tape. Finally, I finished it off with some giant puffy Thickers that I had. Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for checking it with me and I'll see you over at CAS(E) this Sketch.

  2. This is awesome!! I like that you are using up some of your kits. I knew those puffy stickers were familiar looking. I have some of those somewhere. Great design!
