CTS #324

Good morning and happy end of May! I can't believe the school year is already over for my boys and they are settling into their summer routine. I finally had a chance to map out our summer so I have half a clue of what is going on and it is shaping up to be another busy one. How does that happen every year? I always have it in my mind that now we will be able to kick back and relax and somehow things seem to only get more busy. Here's hoping for some relaxation. Speaking of relaxing, have you taken the time to check out this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge? It might be just what you need to get your creative juices going. Here's my take on it:

In case you didn't know, I have a thing for chickens so when I saw this cute set from Gerda Steiner on Ellen Hutson, I just had to have it. I'm so glad I bought it because it was perfect for this crazy sketch that I came up with. (Sometimes I wonder where I get these sketch ideas) I kept this card very CAS with just some stamping and Copic coloring. I also looked to the clucky ladies in my yard for some inspiration. Here's a closer look:
