Good morning!! I'm coming to you guys today from the only grocery store/gas station/restaurant/souvenir shop/internet cafe on the whole island of Bois Blanc. I trekked up here this morning just to use their internet connection to share today's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge with you guys. This island is gorgeous and smack dab in the middle of Lake Huron. We had so much fun on Lake Superior last year, we decided to use our family vacations to see all of the great lakes. Luckily, there are plenty of places like this on the great lakes. We love to play on the beach and throw stones rather than going from touristy location to touristy location. Sometimes, the more secluded the better...especially with three boys! I would like an internet connection but I suppose I can handle coming up here for coffee and breakfast to share with you guys. :)
My dad is a real rock hound and the loads and loads of fossils along the beach, have him in hog heaven. Luckily, he has lots of helpers to find the perfect rocks. Here's a picture of them scouring the north shore of the island:
I hope you are all enjoying your summer also! I guess I better get around to sharing my card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch! Here it is:
I started with a navy card base and I used the negative of the My Favorite Things Happy Die to create the first part of my sentiment. I cut my thin birthday sentiment in white to make it stand out when layered. You'll have to forgive me, I totally forgot where this die came from. If I remember I'll edit this and add the info.
I hope you liked my card today! Come join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch. You'll have a blast, I swear! :)
LOVE this..... great colors and the perfect unisex/masculine card!
