Rain, Rain, Go Away!

OMG!  We are waterlogged!  The rain just won't let up and while that means that my husband is home with us, it also means he's an anxious farmer.  He still has quite a bit to plant and while I love having him at the dinner table, I'd rather he be out in the field so he can actually relax a little.  So, here's hoping the rain lets up sooner than predicted.

Things are crazy as always here but the last week of May/first week of June is always one I dread.  My middle son has his gymnastics recitals this week on Tues and Thurs while my oldest has swim team the other nights.  The boys and I are also getting ready for vacation bible school at our church and, boy, is it going to be fun!  I'll have to take a pic of some of the projects we are working on to share.  It's going to be a fun/busy week next week plus, I have to get us all packed up for our trip to the cabins on the 7th.  Whoa, I'm tired just thinking about it all.  I'm hoping the guys get the fields planted before cabin time.  Otherwise, I'm not sure what is going to happen since crops MUST get in.  Guess we'll see.

Anyway, I've been a little scarce here on my blog and I wanted you to know I didn't forget about you guys all together.  Life just gets crazy at times, especially since I'm still trying to settle into a routine for running CAS(E) this Sketch.  Good thing I love it!  I did make a card this week to share and since all I've been seeing is clouds, it suits my mood.  Unfortunately, I actually needed a sympathy card this week.  I never like when that happens.  :(

Stamps:  Communique Sentiments (Papertrey Ink)
Die/Cut:  Clouds (Clear & Simple Stamps)
Ink:  Versamark
Paper:  Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist Pattern Pack (PTI), Embellishment Packaging, Kraft Woodgrain, Various Patterns from Studio Calico Card KIts
Misc:  Wooden Heart (Freckled Fawn), Glitter Tape (American Crafts)

I hope you have a great day and PLEASE, send a little sun my way!!!
