Muse Challenge #7

I finally had the chance to play along with the Muse Challenge.  I've been admiring the cards and inspiration for awhile now but haven't had the time to make my ideas a reality.  Thank goodness it finally happened.  Laurie's card is the perfect inspiration.  Check it out:

I was inspired a ton of different ways!  I had to use the colors, the flower (?) in the corner totally had me thinking doilies, and the polka-dots...well, what girl can resist those?  I even used her basic layout as inspiration.  Can't beat that.

I made my sentiment block on the Silhouette and you'll find my file on the Shared Files page.  I really love merging text with shapes.  Here it is, my card:

Dies.Cuts:  You (Simon Says Stamp), '3 Set' Doily (Lori Whitlock)
Paper: Kraft, Vellum (PTI), Solar White (Neenah), Pinks (American Crafts)
Misc:  3D Foam Shapes (Scrapbook Adhesives), Washi Tape (K & Company), Black Pen (Uniball)
