Make it Monday!

I finally got the chance this week to sit down and work on my Make it Monday submission!  I must say that Ashley outdid herself this time!  Wow, what a neat use for border dies.  She challenged us to use our border dies to make rolled flowers and boy are they neat!  I'll admit that rolled flowers intimidate me.  I'm not sure why but it may have something to do with the fact that they are perfectly pretty in an imperfect way.  I'm very particular about things and it drives me batty when I can't get something just so and the thought of rolling something up, smushing and fussing with it, and then putting it on a card sort of baffled me.  However, I really enjoyed this technique even with my mildly OCD ways.  I ended up LOVING the results and I will absolutely do this again.  What do you think:

Stamps:  Framed Out #2 (PTI)
Dies:  XL Rickrack, Rickrack, Leafy Border, Framed Out #2 (All PTI)
Inks:  Hawaiian Shores, Lemon Tart, Smokey Shadow (All PTI)
Paper:  Smokey Shadow, Soft Stone, Lemon Tart, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, 2008 Bitty Box Basics (All PTI), Dots & Stripes (Echo Park)
Misc:  Foam Tape (Scotch)
