Good morning and happy New Year!! I hope you guys all had a wonderful celebration and are diving into 2018 with excitement. I had a little time to craft yesterday and couldn't wait to share one of my creations with you today. Turns out, Laura decided to spring an awesome Lil' Inker Designs sale on us too making this the perfect time to share my card with you.
I must have stamped a million Blossoms Banners and colored the day away. I had a ton of fun coming up with different color combos and the one I used here turned out to be my favorite. I then cut my banner out with the Blossoms Banners Dies. No what to do with these awesome banners? I wanted to keep whatever I was going to layer these onto simple so I grabbed my new favorite way to add a little design and color to a cardbase, the Modern Mandala Stamps. I stamped them in a chocolate brown masking as I went to create a fun grouping in the corner of my white card base. I added my banner with some foam tape for dimension and the card was done. Here's a close up:

Lil' Inker Designs December Release Day #2
It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today! I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store. Hopefully, you checked out all of Angel's amazing creations before hopping here. If not of it you get lost along the hop you can always find your spot by going to the Lil' Inker Blog. For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!
First up, I decided to try my hand at some intense coloring using the Corner Adorner Stamp Set, the Quilted Stitched So Knotty Die, the Because Stamp Set, and Because Word Die.
My card started with some wood veneer paper which I added some fun texture to using the Quilted Stitched So Knotty Die. This is one amazing die! It makes me think a little celtic knot like. LOVE IT! Next, I stamped and colored the large floral in the Corner Adorner Stamp Set. I had a blast coloring this amazing image and I just know you will too. I cut it out and added it to my cardbase with foam tape. Then I went about making a sentiment. I started with just the gold Because Word Die and the sentiment from Because Stamp Set stamped on white. I moved all over around the card but I just couldn't make it look how I wanted. So I layered some vellum with another piece of textured wood veneer paper cut using the Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles. Once I layered it all under my floral, I thought it needed just a touch more color so, I added a small line of wine cardstock to pull it all together. Here's a closer look:
Next up, another look at the Quilted Stitched So Knotty Die this time paired with the Friend Stamps and Friend Word Die.
I went a little wild with this card and ran the Quilted Stitched So Knotty Die through my diecut machine at a jaunty angle on my card. Next, I created a frame with the same navy paper to frame my textured center using Dual Dotted Rectangles Dies. I stamped and embossed the dotted image from Friend Stamps on the frame as a grounding point for my sentiment. Next, I cut my sentiment using Friend Word Die the from some soft green paper. I added this above my dots and added a strip of vellum underneath with the remainder of my sentiment. Finally, I added some neat little floral like images from Friend Stamps and some sequins. Here's a closer look:
