Hello!! How's everyone doing?? Is anyone else buried deep in snow like I am? ;) I keep telling myself not to complain but it is really difficult and I'll just go with, I can't wait for spring to get here! I'm totally ready for it. I'm also ready to share the card I made with you for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge! Here it is:
I have been needing some sympathy cards and I wanted to keep this one a little more gender neutral. So, I grabbed some navy cardstock and made my card base. Next, I cut this awesome pattern with the new Lil' Inker Designs Mod Circles Die. I attached it to another piece of navy and then cut a portion with a Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Square. I love how that gave me the stitched look around then edge. I attached this to my card front with foam tape and then cut the With Sympathy Word Die from some gray card stock. I wanted to keep it nice and clean and simple and I think it turned out great! Here's a closer look:
Thanks so much for checking out my card today and I hope to see you over at CAS(E) this Sketch!

My first card for you today uses the new Monsters Ink Stamps and Monsters Ink Dies as well as the previously released Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares and Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles.
I wanted to create some sneaky monsters with this card so I cut a window out of my card front using the Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares. I added a fun star paper to the window before coloring my Monsters Ink Stamps and cutting them out with Monsters Ink Dies. I arranged my monsters in the window and popped them up a little with some foam tape. My sentiment strip was created with the Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles. I trimmed it down using an edge of the same die to create the perfect little tab for my sentiment from Monsters Ink Stamps. Here's a
closer look:
My final card for today uses the Boo Balloons Stamps along with the coordinating Balloons Dies which have been around for awhile. I love that these coordinate because the Balloons Dies is one of my favorites. I also use the new Stitched Mini Chevron Border Die and Stitched Bats.
I started this card by inking up my sky with some fun purple and then inking up a separate piece for my purple balloons. Next I cut my balloons from several colors using the Balloons Dies before stamping them with the new Boo Balloons Stamps. I set those aside while I built my card front. I layered a strip of my inked purple at an angle on the black card base. Next, I added some purple glitter tape and finished off the frame look with a Stitched Mini Chevron Border Die on the top and bottom of the sky. Then I added my fun balloons using the Boo Balloons Stamps to add some strings and a sentiment. I finished it all of with a couple glittery Stitched Bats. Here's a closer look:

Lil' Inker Designs January Release Day #1
Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team. It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store! We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Amy's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter! So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog. Now for the fun!
My first card uses the awesome Love Is Love Stamps and Quilted Stitched XOXO Die.
The idea for this card came to me while driving my middle son to gymnastics! Don't you love when inspiration strikes in the strangest of places? I pulled up behind an SUV and on the back window was the American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "I love you" created with plain straight lines and a heart in the palm. Besides feeling super happy that someone has so much love in them that they would drive around with such an awesome window sticker, it totally inspired me to see if I could create an equally unique take on the ASL sign. So, I dug through my stamps to find the perfect heart and I found it in the Love You More Stamp set. It was curved just right to look like a palm. So, I stamped it in the center of my card stock using some red ink. Next, I needed some fingers. I looked and looked and finally decided to dissect my Unstoppable Stamps to create a thumb and four fingers. It turned out just right! Next, I needed a sentiment and the new Love Is Love Stamps was just the right fit. I stamped and embossed the solid "LOVE" with white across my hand and then followed that up with the outline "LOVE" embossed in black. Then, I added the rest of the sentiment embossed in black also. I debated adding "in every language" to the sentiment but figured it was busy enough. Now, what to do with this image? I decided to layer it on a card front I created using the new Quilted Stitched XOXO Die with both red and black layers. I love the fun and subtle pattern because it would detract from my main image which I cut out using a Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares which I added just a small border of black to make it pop against the red. Here's
another peek:
I was having so much fun with the Love Is Love Stamps that I decided to use it again but this time paired with the Love Is Love Dies.
