CTS #403

Happy 2021!!!!  How in the world is that even possible?  I'm not really sure where the holidays went but they certainly flew by.  I hope you all are having a great new year so far and are ready to play along with us at CAS(E) this Sketch.  We have a fun challenge for you guys today and I happen to LOVE how my card turned out.  It might be a loose interpretation of the sketch but, oh well!  Ha ha.  It took me awhile to create something I liked so I'm going with it.  I swear I lose all my card making mojo during the holidays and it takes FOREVER to get back.  

I am excited to share this final month of CTS with you all. I'm going to miss it but I am looking forward to having a little more free time to create and maybe play along in some other challenges! Here's what I created for this week's sketch:

 

I used some wood grain paper from my background and added touches of green to create the lines from the sketch. That was were I stopped on this card and I got a bit stuck so it sat on my desk for a week or so. Finally, I noticed the "joy" cutouts that I didn't use sitting in the corner of my desk and I decided to give this another go. It was just right and I finished it off with a sprig of greenery sticker. You should have seen me twisting and turning the sticker to get it on there just right. Ha ha! Luckily, I really liked how it turned out. Here's a closer look:
