Lil' Inker Designs February Release Day #1

Hi, you guys!  It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you!  I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team.  It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store!  We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Amy's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations!  Make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog.  Now for the fun!

First off, here's one of my favorite cards that I made using one of my favorite new Cover Up Dies, Mod Circles as well as the Snarky Shadow Hello Die & Stamp Bundle with the previously release Perky Posies dies!

I decided to go tone on tone with my Mod Circles die cut so I went with a pretty green/teal color card stock.  I just love the detail of this die and I love how it really stands out with a tone on tone look.  Next, I cut a Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles that was just perfect for my sentiment from the Snarky Shadow Hello Die & Stamp Bundle.  I love the Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles as they have SO many uses and I happen to grab for them all the time!  I added my sentiment strip to the card front and go to work cutting and layering various Perky Posies dies, adding enamel dots as their centers for a little extra dimension.  Yet another of my go to must have products from Lil' Inker.  Next, I stamped my "hello" from the Snarky Shadow Hello Die & Stamp Bundle in mint with a darker shadow and cut it out popping it up with some foam tape in amongst the posies.  I added a little Glossy Accents to the "hello" for a little shine.  Here's a closer look:

The next project I have to share uses the Snarky Shadow Hello Die & Stamp Bundle and the Sassy Pants Stamps.

This card was super simple but I love the look of it.  I started by stamping the "hello" from Snarky Shadow Hello Die & Stamp Bundle in yellow where I wanted to highlight the sentiment.  I used the shadow stamp on this image alone in black.  Next, I stamped the "hello" repeatedly on the card base in grey to make a background.  Next, I stamped a sentiment from Sassy Pants Stamps on a piece of grey card stock and then cut into a thing strip.  I added this strip to the card with foam tape.  I debated adding a thin strip of yellow to the bottom of the sentiment strip but in the end, I went with just the simple grey.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for looking at my projects today!  Don't forget about our giveaway!
