CTS #262

Good morning, you guys!  We are heading down to Des Moines this morning to see how my son's shoulder is healing up.  Here's hoping the cyst is filling in on its own and we won't have to mess with bone grafts.  I hope you are all having fun and less eventful days.  I do have something exciting to get your going today!  There's a new sketch up at CAS(E) this Sketch!  It's a SUPER CAS sketch this week and I'm super excited to see what everyone does with it.  The design team blew me away this week (as always!).  I hope you'll enjoy my take.

Talk about a simple take on the sketch.  The most complicated part of my card was lining up the Happy Birthday Border Die so they matched even when upside down.  The card base is a one that I found in a box of patterned cards and I just loved it.  I wanted a pop of color for the sentiment so I went with a bright yellow.  I used the Happy Birthday Border Die to cut my sentiment but then decided I wanted to try a little something different with it so rather than cutting the bottom line to the thickness I wanted on my cutter, I used the die to create a mirrored image.  Super fun and simple.  Here's a closer look:

Thanks so much for checking out my card and I hope you'll join us this week at CAS(E) this Sketch!
