Happy Thursday, everyone! I'm here to share my card for another awesome sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch. I had a blast with this one and the team created some amazing cards. You will not want to miss their creations. Make sure to make some time this week to join us. We'd love to see your cards too! Here's what I came up with:
I created this card for a friend's birthday last month and I have been dying to share it ever since. I'm so glad I get to today! I started with this fun patterned paper and began stamping images from Neat & Tangled's Perfect Blend stamp set. Some I colored with copics, some I stamped the inner cup image, some I embossed, and some I embossed and then stamped into the embossed. It was fun playing with all the ways to use this stamp set and I loved the fun background I created when I was finished. I cut my coffee paper on an angle and when I came to layering it, I knew I wanted a solid paper but it seemed boring so, I used Lil' Inker Designs Silly Stitched Die Set to add just the right touch to my solid layer. I layered the my two card front layers with foam tape and then used alphabet stickers to add a sentiment. Finally, a few wooden asterisks and the card was complete!
I hope you enjoyed my card today and will join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch! Can't wait to see you!
Awesome card! I love the silly stitching and the sentiment treatment (contrasting and straddling the line).
