Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team. It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store! We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Jessica's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter! So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog. Now for the fun!
My projects today feature the products that are a little more whimsical and fun in my mind. I started with probably my favorite set, Rustic Christmas stamps and the Rustic Christmas dies. I just love the sketchy look of these. Totally gorgeous!
I have been hoarding this gorgeous paper since last Christmas. I was just waiting for the perfect stamp set to make the most of it and I found that in Rustic Christmas. It almost looks like they were made for each other. So, I started with this cute mountain scene and added a Dual Dotted Circle cut from the Super Kids Paper and stamped with the city scene in Rustic Christmas. Next, I stamped and cut some trees and snowflakes in matching inks using the Rustic Christmas dies. I cut a Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangle from our Ombre Stripes Paper Pad to stamp with the sentiment and layer with all the trees around the city. A few sequins for some sparkle and my card was complete. Here's a closer look:
Next up, something cute and a little snarky. The Moody Santa Stamps and Moody Santa Dies fit the bill perfectly! I paired those with a word from the new Brush Script Christmas Word Dies. They are GORGEOUS!
Please note the new and awesome prize for commenting along the hop! You won't want to miss out on this chance! :)
Chrissy Larson <---Yup, that's me!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the colors you chose for the winters scene! Such a cute card!
ReplyDeleteI like the scene you created on the first card and the funny sentiment on the second.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your Rustic Christmas card!!! Every detail is just perfect!!! And your Santa card is super cute and fun too! Love the expression on his face!
ReplyDeletePretty cards - LOVE the layouts and the color combos:)
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards! I love that Moody Santa; those sentiments crack me up!
ReplyDeleteLove your first card and the non traditional colours.
ReplyDeleteI could not place where the gifts came from on the Santa card. What a great idea to use them from the Pachyderm set! And the paper on your first card...well, I'm sure it goes without saying that I love that! And the placement of your sequins creates a great flow of the snowflakes! Love them both!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards! I really like the first one -- beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteI love that you use nontraditional Christmas colors/patterns for your cards. How did you make the dots near the mountains and in the sky? You mention Dual Dotted Circle Dies but I can't quite figure out how you used them. The second card is a stitch with the crabby Santa and crabby verse. I can just see a new movie developing over this! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi, Barbara! Thanks so much for your kind words. The dots near the mountains and in the sky are just part of the patterned paper. The Dual Dotted Circle is the shape cut from the minty chevron paper and stamped with the city stamp from Rustic Christmas. :) Hope that helps.
