CTS #196

Good morning, you guys!  I hope you are enjoying the Lil' Inker Designs October Release.  If you are looking for my Blog Hop Post, it's right below this one.  For now, I'm going to share my take on this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and CAS(E) for a Cause.

This week we are teaming up with Karen of Feline Creative to create pet themed cards for her local animal shelter.  You can read more about it in the challenge post.  Now, if you aren't up for a pet themed card, that doesn't mean you can't join us this week.  Participation in the CAS(E) for a Cause is NOT required to play or win.  So, join us for this fun sketch and see what you can come up with me.  Here's my card:

For my card, I used Simon Says Stamps products.  I started with a stone color card base and I stamped it with Versamark using Hero Arts Envelope Pattern on about 3/4 of the card front. I topped this subtle pattern with air mail stripes stamped using Sending Happy Thoughts.  Next, I stamped and colored the cats from Furry Kisses with copic markers before cutting it out and adding it to my card front.  The little envelope is from Sending Happy Thoughts also.  Next, I cut the Sending Die several times from navy cardstock and added it to my card and finished it all of by stamping "thanks" from Where the Heart Is.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I hope you'll join us this week for a very special challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch!
