It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today! I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store. I'm your first stop on the blog hop today and I hope to get you all excited to visit the rest of the team. If you get lost along the hop you can always find your spot by going to the Lil' Inker Blog. For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!
First up, I made this cute little birthday card using the new Sassy Script Stamps.
I started this card with the fun patterned paper which made me want to use the amazing Balloon Dies to up the fun factor even more. I layered a striped paper on my polka dot card base. See the subtle black specks on my striped paper? Well, I accidentally dropped a black ink pad on a corner of the paper (it happens when you are a messy crafter). At first I was angry and was going to throw it away but then, I decided to drop my ink pad a few more times and see how it looked. Turns out, it was a happy mistake. To bring in a little more black, I diecut the Stitched Scallop Border Die from a black and white patterned paper and added it to my focal point which I had embossed part of my sentiment stamped with the Sassy Script Stamps. I create birthday cards for my church to mail out and it is always challenging to find the right sentiment. Sassy Script Stamps makes it a breeze since I can create my own! To finish my sentiment, I inked just the "have a" portion of a sentiment from Kite Flying Stamps. I added my Stitched Scallop Border Die and finished off the sentiment with letters cut using the Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set. I drew a sting and added my star balloon and some enamel dots to finish it all off. Here's a closer look:
Next up, I decided to go a touch masculine with Sassy Script Stamps.
I started this card with a water colored panel cut with Side-Stitched Rectangles. I used Sassy Script Stamps to stamp more of my sentiment this time and still used Kite Flying Stamps to finish it off. I thought the card needed a stamped element to help anchor the sentiment so I added the branch from Vintage Ink Stamps. Some enamel dots and a navy card base finish off the card. I think it will make a great guy card!
My final card for today features the recently release Perfect Pairs Die Set.
The Perfect Pairs Stamp Set is one of my favorite stamp sets! I just adore the cute little images and the sentiments are super fun too! Having the Perfect Pairs Die Set just makes them even more fun! I started this card with some fun patterned paper from the Tribal Chic Paper Pack. I cute some using the Dual Stitched Triangle Dies and arranged them across the front of my card. I stamped my eggs and bacon using the Perfect Pairs Stamp Set and cut it out with the Perfect Pairs Die Set. After coloring them, I added them with the sentiment to my card. Can't think of a more perfect pair than bacon and eggs! Yum!
I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop. You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop. It could be you. I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects. See you then!
