Hi, you guys! It's day one of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop and I'm super excited to share all the new products with you! I think you are really going to enjoy this release and all the new inspiration from our team. It's packed with fun, as always and, lucky for you, all the new products are available right now at the Lil' Inker Store! We have an amazing blog hop for you today so, hopefully, you are coming from Stephanie's blog and if not, you won't want to miss her amazing creations or anyone's for that matter! So make sure you didn't miss anyone and start at the Lil' Inker Blog. Now for the fun!
My first project for today features Warm Welcome Stamps, Warm Welcome Dies, Welcome Word Die, and the Fringe Scallop Border Builder Dies.
I started this card with some striped paper that gave me my color inspiration, I thought it would be super cute to show a solid corner, so I used the Fringe Scallop Border Builder Dies to cut a diagonal for my card base to peek out of. I seriously love all the Fringe Scallop products. They add such a fun touch to cards! Next, I cut the wreath from Warm Welcome Dies out of some orange/brown cardstock and the flowers and banner from a soft cream. I stamped my flowers, leaves, and banner sentiment using Warm Welcome Stamps. I added some white accent dots to my stamped images before arranging them and my blue Welcome Word Die to my card front. Finally, I finished it off with some enamel dots. I really REALLY love how it all turned out.
Next up, I had tons of fun with the new Coffee Talk Die Set, Coffee Talk Stamp Set, Coffee Word Die, and Dual Dotted Border Builder Dies.
For this card, I wanted to have some fun with layers using the Love You Paper Pack. I picked 4 fun papers and cut them using the Dual Dotted Border Builder Dies. After I had them arranged just so, I cut the Coffee Word Die from some of the Mirrored Reflective Specialty Paper which I'll tell you more about below. I added my word die layered with a vellum Of the Heart Die cut to my card front before creating my fun iced coffee. I stamped my coffee using the Coffee Talk Stamp Set and colored it with copics before cutting it out with the new Coffee Talk Die Set. I LOVE having this new die set. Not only can I make my coffee cozies fun with patterned paper like I did above but I can cut out the straw from fun paper options! It makes an already awesome set even more fun! I added a few fun reflective hearts to my card before calling it good.
Chrissy Larson <---Yup, that's me!!!
Now through June 12th you can get this paper for free with the purchase of the Mirror Mirror Stamps and Dies. All you have to do is add all three items to your cart and use code MIRRORMIRROR at checkout.
