CTS #177

It's another warm Thursday in Iowa!  Summer is certainly moving in and I feel like I'm melting already.  Ha ha!  During the winter I long for those days of summer where you can feel the sun baking your skin but when they actually get here, I realize that the cold must have done something to my brain.  I've never been a fan of the heat and you'd think I'd have some sort of immunity to it since I grew up in Florida.  No such luck!  Luckily, my boys seem to have no problem with it.  In fact, they love it.

I'm down to just one little dude with me today.  My oldest is at wakeboard camp and my middle guy is having way too much fun at bible camp.  See what I mean:

Luckily, I am having my own fun playing along with you guys at CAS(E) this Sketch.  This week's sketch is super fun and I hope you'll come join us.  Here's what I created:

I started my card with this ombre paper as my base.  I chose this triangle paper from Lil' Inker Designs' Tribal Chic Paper Pack.  I trimmed out a portion of my paper to wrap around the corner of my card just like the sketch!  Before adding it to my card base with foam tape, stamped this sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Sending and Wishing stamp set.  I was pretty happy with how it turned out and think it will make a great guy card.

Thanks so much for checking out my card this morning.  I hope you'll join us at CAS(E) this Sketch this week.  I can't wait to see what you come up with.  Have a great day.
