It's day two of the Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop and I get to share even more fun goodies with you today! I'm sure you've already been eyeing all the awesome new items, lucky for you, you can get it all right now in the Lil' Inker Store. You should have come here from the amazing Stephanie's blog. Hopefully, you can still see after she blinded you with her awesomeness! If you didn't, don't miss out on anything and make sure you start at the beginning of the hop by going to the Lil' Inker Blog. For now, I'm ready to show off some more fun stuff!
First up, I made this simple card for Mother's Day using Vintage Flower Stamps, Vintage Flower Dies, Vintage Label Sentiment Stamps and the Vintage Label Die.
I really wanted to create a simple but elegant Mother's Day card using the amazing florals in the Vintage Flower Stamp Set. So, I started by layering the flowers and embossing them in a nice strong black embossing powder. I cut one using the Vintage Flower Dies to have as an extra pop on the card. I colored my flowers in bold colors using copics. I didn't mess with shading and stuff because I had such bold black lines. Next, I stamped and cut my frame/sentiment using the Vintage Label Sentiment Stamp Set and the Vintage Label Die. I went with a shiny gold embossing for my frame with a black sentiment and I added some gold enamel dots to anchor it. I added my frame to the front and added my cut flower to the edge of the frame for some added dimension. Here's a closer look:
Next up, I decided to go masculine with Tribal Chic Stamps, Clean Lines: For the Guys Stamps, and Clean Lines: For the Guys Dies.
I started this card with a stone card stock and layered the amazing shapes in the Tribal Chic Stamp Set step by step. I love how these work all together or even separately to build so many fun designs. To add a little extra fun, I stamped some wrenches from Clean Lines: For the Guys Stamps and popped some up that I cut with the Clean Lines: For the Guys Dies. It was so fun to make them part of this tribal design. To finish it off, I stamped a sentiment from Clean Lines: For the Guys and added some enamel diamonds.
I hope you enjoyed my creations and will join the rest of the team on the hop. You'll want to leave comments along the way because Laura gives out a $15 Lil' Inker Designs store credit to a lucky commenter each day of the hop. It could be you. I'm sure I'll see you on the hop and tomorrow for another fun day of release projects. See you then!
