CTS #163

Good morning, everyone!  I'm sitting here sipping my coffee listening to my oldest work on his piano lessons.  It's so fun watching him practice whether he's struggling with a section or nailing it, he always has a smile on his face.  He really enjoys his music and it shows.  It makes me very proud.  We've been busy with school tours and discussions as he's decided to go to public school starting next year in 7th grade.  I'm pretty excited for him and I think he's decided where he wants to go.  Hard to believe he's growing up so fast.  Why do kids have to do that?  :)

On a totally different topic, I'm super excited to share my card today.  Remember how easy my recent birthday cards have been?  Well, this one is no different.  I saw this paper in Papertrey Ink's Watercolor Wonder Patterned Paper Pack and knew it was the perfect fit for the sketch.

If you have the Watercolor Wonder Stamps you could create the same look in different colors.  I used Winnie and Walter's The Big, The Bold, and Party stamp set to create my sentiment.  You can't ask for a simpler card.  I will be making some more using my water color stamps since I used up all my paper.  Ha ha!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and will join us at CAS(E) this Sketch this week.  We can't wait to see your creations!

My oldest son was picking courses for Grade 12 and my second son will be going to the high school next year in Grade 9. Sage will be in Grade 7 in the fall. So, I hear you about them growing up too fast...

  8. I love watching and listening to my daughter play the piano too. Watching her making beautiful music as her fingers dance over the piano keys makes so happy. I love the simplicity of your cad with that bold sentiment.
