Chrissy's Christmas Catch Up

Are you feeling a little behind this season?  I know I am!  I started making a checklist of all the things I need to accomplish before Christmas gets here and I got to feeling overwhelmed to the max!  Making the list helped get things under control but I realized that I am especially behind on my Christmas cards and crafty projects.  What better way to catch up then to share my crazy card making with you guys?  I decided I'd start a little blog feature I like to call, Chrissy's Christmas Catch Up, to do just that!

I'd love to see what you guys are creating too!  If you are doing a crazy crafty catch up, comment and I'd love to come check out what you are up to.  Maybe it will help me stay motivated.  Ha ha!

Here's my creation for today:

I ordered the Simon Says Stamps December Card Kit because I couldn't resist those papers!  The deer papers are just adorable and the stickers...LOVE!  I just had to use it on this card.  I took one of the papers and trimmed it to fit a cardfront, layering it on some matching teal paper.  I cut the large and medium tags from Anytime Tags Die Set 2 in gray and teal and stamped the largest with a sentiment from All The Christmas You'll Ever Need.  Next, I layered my tags with two snowflakes cut using the Snowflake Dies and some swirly vellum.  I also added a bit of twine to the top of the banner I created using my two tags.  To finish off the card, I added a star sticker from the card kit and some enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed my card for the day and I hope you'll share what you are creating with me!  Just comment and I'll swing by and check out your creations!  Let's get each other motivated and, heck, maybe we'll make so many cards, we'll have enough for next year!  Ha ha!
