Pinterest Inspired Challenge

Today, I joining in the first ever Pinterest Inspired Challenge.  This looks like it's going to be an amazing challenge blog to follow and play along with and I can't wait to see what's next.  I'm getting my entry in just in the nick of time this month, ha ha!  Here's the inspiration photo for the challenge:

I decided to go with the colors as my inspiration for this card.

I had a blast with this card and got to use some Reverse Confetti goodies that I've been dying to play with!  I started with this fun arrow paper and then trimmed a piece of black and white striped paper down for a fun bold punch.  I cut the adorable Double Banner Garland from some yellow polka dot paper and used it to break up with black and white a bit.  Next  I cut "birthday" from Fancy Words out of some gray grid paper and attached it along the line made by the black and white.  To finish the sentiment, I used some yellow alphabet stickers to spell out "happy".  I finshed it off with some fun asterisks and a frosted enamel dot.

I hope you like my card and don't forget to check out the Pinterest Inspired Challenge.  A new challenge should be on it's way!
