CTS #138

Happy last Thursday of August!  Is that possible?  Wow, were did the summer go?  The boys and I have been busy getting back into the swing of school again.  We've been at it for almost two weeks and I think we may have found our groove.  Don't quote me on that though.  ;)  I am still trying to carve out my crafty time in all this schooling/activity madness but we are getting there.  Having all three boys busy with school work is a little different but my littlest is loving being an official big boy.  Ha ha!

I did get enough time in to craft up a card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I hope you like it!

I went a little crazy with this card.  I started with a striped background paper and then created a blue and white birthday square with my Boxed Up Birthday Greeting Die.  I cut my square at an angle and attached it to my card base.  Then I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Party Pachyderms on a blue strip which I attached down the cut line.  I have a hard time with cards for guys but I think this will work!  Woo hoo!

I hope you enjoyed my take on the sketch and will join us at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Here's what I used today:
