CTS #134

Good morning!  I'm a little under the weather this morning but I couldn't miss out on sharing my take on this week's CAS(E) this Sketch with you.  I do hope you'll like it!

Here's the sketch:

When I created this sketch, I had nothing really in mind for it.  I did love the shapes but I figured I'd be stumped when it came to making my card.  Then I got the Quilted Flower Die Set and I knew it was just right for this sketch.  I grabbed my Dip Dyed Ombre paper pad to make an amazing background and used leftover negative cuts from this card for my first swirly layer of flowers in coral.  That is one of the main things I love about this die, all the parts that are cut are useful and gorgeous!  No waste!  Next, I cut a base flower to match my background and a flower in gold to layer on and bring a little pizazz to the card.  I then stamped my sentiment from Pineapple Panache Stamps to match my bottom layer of flowers.  I finished it off with some fun enamel dots and jewels.

I hope you liked my take on the sketch and will come join us at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Back to bed for me...

Here's a look at what I used today:
