CTS #124

Good morning, you guys!  My goodness this week has been busy busy busy!  My niece is getting married in July and I'm getting ready to throw her a bridal shower on Sunday.  I think I have it all under control but it still feels like I have tons to do.  ;)  I didn't have my card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge ready until the wee hours of the night last night.  Ahhhh!  I'm usually pretty far ahead so I was totally panicking.  Ha ha!  Luckily, I like what I came up with and I hope you will too.  Here's my card:

Here's the sketch:

Since this was my sketch, I had a REALLY hard time not doing exactly what I drew in the first place.  Afterall, I really liked that idea for a card.  Ha ha!  I wanted to do something a little different but still inspired by the sketch (I'm totally making the sketch into a card later though).  So I decided that to me, it was just a really bold background with a sentiment popping out.  I found this fun bold polkadot paper and I cut up a 3x4 pocket scrapping card to create that fun sentiment popping out from the side.  I loved how it was angled and it looked totally fun on the card front.

I hope you liked my card today and will join us over at CAS(E) this Sketch!  See you there!
