Well, the vacation is over and the laundry begins! My poor washing machine and dryer haven't seen that much sand in a LONG time. ;) It is good to be home and I'm happy to be able to post this from my desk instead of the front seat of my van while sitting in a parking lot using someone else's wifi. Ha ha! I hope you will enjoy my card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and join us for the fun. Here's my card:
In case you haven't noticed, I'm a sucker for pattern. I loved this striped paper immediately when I saw it in the paper pack and I knew it would be fun paired with two different patterned banners. So, I cut them. One from this cool number paper and the other from some chevron printed vellum. Perfect! I layered them under two stars cut using the Seasonal Stars Dies from Lil' Inker Designs. I trimmed my card front down to 4" across so I could hang a star over the edge and still fit in an envelope. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment from Party Pachyderms under my banners.
I hope you like my take on the sketch and will join us at CAS(E) this Sketch. Back to the laundry for me! UGH! ;)
Here are the products I used for this card:
I love those stripes!! Glad to hear you are home safe, and sound... you'll get that laundry done in no time at all...

ReplyDeleteI love yellow and black - it makes a good contrast!
Love how you placed your banners at an angle, really adds something. Those star dies are on my wanted list! Karen x
