Can you believe that Laura was sneaky enough to release some amazing products without having a full blown release? She must have known that you guys would NOT want to wait for this stuff. You can find it all over at the Lil' Inker Store. Goodness! I haven't even showed you what you'll find over there! Ha ha! Check it out:
First up the Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles. There are 4 sizes of dies in this set:
Largest die cuts an exact A2 stitched rectangle at 4.25" x 5.50" (this die does not feature dual stitching and cuts a stitched rectangle only)
Three additional, Dual Stitched Rectangles die sizes are:
3 7/16" x 4 5/8", 2 1/2" x 3 5/8", 1 1/2" x 2 13/16"
You can read even more about it over at the Lil' Inker Blog.
Next, Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares! Here's a little info on sizes that come in this set. More info can be found on the Lil' Inker Blog.
Largest die cuts a stitched square exactly 4.25" x 4.25" (this die does
not feature dual stitching and cuts a stitched square only)
Finally, wire cutting pliers. These things are awesome and make separating dies SO much easier!
Now I can share with you what I made using these new goodies!
For this card, I used the largest Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles to create my card front and then cut the second largest Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles out of my card front at an angle. I then pieced back in another rectangle that I cut from a different paper. I cut my cute coffee cup using the Coffee Cozy Die Set. I stamped "Let's Chat" from the Coffee Cozy Stamps on the coffee cozy and added "hey" from Hey, Foxy Word Dies to finish off my sentiment. A few hearts and I was finished. LOVE!
I decided to go with a 6" x 6" card when using the Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares because this pattern paper just screamed square to me. I used two different square dies to make my layered center by creating a window with one die and a diamond with the other. I stamped a sentiment from Balloon Builders Stamps on a strip of vellum which I wrapped around the card and added "Sending you" using the Mini Envelopes Dies & Accessories to add a little more to the sentiment and make it all pop.
I hope you enjoyed this mini release and my cards! Here's a rundown of the products I used today. Have a great day!
Awesome cards and loads of inspiration! Of to Lil Inkers I go!
