Snow...I hate snow! I know we don't have nearly the amount of snow that some people have (sorry, mom) and are getting but it doesn't make me like it. I am so done with winter! I'm sure I'm not alone in that feeling. Here's hoping our sketch this week at CAS(E) this Sketch will warm you up. It's a little different and I'm super excited to see what you all do with it. Here's what I did:
I took two colors of shimmer cardstock and diecut the copper with the Thanks Word Die from Lil' Inker Designs. I took my diecut and put it back into the negative and cut it. I took the bottom of the negative and layered it on my card front and then added the pieces of the positive to the top part of the cut. I hope you like it!
Thanks so much for checking out my card. I hope you'll join us at CAS(E) this Sketch! Have a great week.
LOVE!!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is fantastic, Chrissy!
ReplyDeleteWow--this is so amazing and eye catching. I am so glad you described how you did it--it sounds simple in the explanation, but I don't think I would have figured it out on my own, and I really do want to try something just like this.
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissy,
ReplyDeleteNice sketch, I took one look and knew I could do something... well SOMETHING haha!
It is nice having your card as an inspiration. Loving the copper and black, sort of the colors of our little Fiat!
We don't have any snow here at all in Okanagan, BC!
