CTS #99

Good morning, everyone!  I'm coming to you from Iowa this morning which is a bit bittersweet.  I'm glad to be home and I missed my hubby a ton but it is always hard to leave my parents in NY.  I am thankful that we were able to stay as long as we did and help them out.  My dad is doing better and better each day.  I know he must be doing pretty well because when I talked to mom yesterday on Skype, he was surfing ebay for coins and bantering with us from the other room.  Always a good sign of health!  Ha ha!  ;)  It wasn't all work in NY.  We had a bunch of fun also and this picture is my FAVORITE of all the pictures I took.  We were at a pumpkin farm with my mom and rain was just waiting to dump on us but that didn't stop anyone from having fun (even though we did end up getting soaked).  I just LOVED my mom's smile in this picture.  I can see the total joy her grandsons bring to her right there in her face and it makes me SO happy!

Let's get down to business though!  It's sketch #99 this week at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Crazy isn't it?  It still boggles my mind that we've been doing it for this long and that you guys are all still playing along.  It's wonderful!  Here the sketch for the week:

I had a great time with this sketch and did a little masking on my card using the Look Up stamp set from Avery Elle. 

 

I just love those balloons and had a blast coloring them with my copics.  It's a little different take on the sketch but I think it captures the essence of it and I hope you agree!
