Hot. That word about sums up my week so far and if you toss in the word "stuffy" you have it completely summed up. It has been hot and stuffy here but I have also been stuffy. The corn outside is tasseling and the pollen is KILLING me! Allergies are no fun but my corn allergy must be pretty bad to cut through 5 years of allergy shots and make me fell as crappy as I do. Of course, I live in the middle of a corn field at the moment and that doesn't help. It won't stop me from sharing this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge with you though. Nothing can keep me from craftiness. ;)
This week's sketch is from Sam and I just love it!
I flipped the sketch a bit for my card and I had the worst time getting a good picture of it. I think I took about 50 pics at different times of the day and I just wasn't happy with any of them. I know, I'm picky!
I used some fun paper from my Studio Calico stash and then embossed the Studio Calico stamp in silver. I tried to capture the shine on the silver in my photo but things just weren't working with me. Don't you hate those kind of days? I finished the card off with a couple enamel hearts. Super simple.
The heat is finally breaking here. I hope you are keeping cool in your neck of the woods. We are heading off to drum and piano lessons this morning and I'm hoping to get out and jog this afternoon if it isn't too hot. Hot and running do NOT mix when it comes to me. Ha ha!
I hope you enjoyed my card today and will join us this week at CAS(E) this Sketch! We love seeing what you create. Have a great day!
