I sketched it out while I was waiting on my kindergartner to finish a part of his lesson one morning. I find having my iPad around with the Paper 53 app has really helped me capture my ideas. So, here's my card:
Stamps: To The Point, Free Thanks Stamp (Avery Elle)
Inks: Pumpkin, Lido, Seattle (Amuse Studio)
Paper: Fizz, Fog, White (Avery Elle)
Misc: Tab (Studio Calico Card Kit), Punch Label Maker
So, how do you capture your creative inspirations? Hope you have a great day!
I love what you did today! I'm a big fan of stamping geometric backgrounds:) And I love that little sliver of gray around the stamped panel!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out that app! My current system (if scraps of paper and post-its count as a system;) is terrible!
I used to use the post-it "system" also! I had them scattered everywhere. I tried a notebook but I always forgot to bring it with me. With the app, my iPad is my notebook so when I'm sitting in a doctor's office or watching the kids play and inspiration strikes, it's right there!
DeleteWow, I didn't know you loved to create sketches! The sketch itself is so COOL, love the card that came from it too!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI guess I never really thought of them as sketches, just as my little jots and scribbles but I guess they actually are. Hmmm...who knew! ;)
DeleteTotally digging this card and the inspiration. What is this app!?! I must check it out :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Lalo! The app is Paper 53. I'm pretty sure it's free but if you want to add extra brushes, etc it costs money. I figure for just my random doodles, all I need is the pen and colors it comes with.
DeleteVery cool...love seeing your sketch!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome app! I kind of like the sketch itself with the fun squiggles of colour as a design all it's own! The card is really cool. Love the colours and the awesome sentiment tabs!
