CAS(E) This Sketch #11

It's so hard to believe that this is already sketch #11!  We have so much fun seeing what you guys come up with and creating ourselves that time really flies.  This week's sketch could be interpreted a ton of different ways and I look forward to seeing your take on it.  Come join us and share at CAS(E) this Sketch!

Here's the sketch:

For my card, I turned the sketch so the dark part was at the top of the card...if that makes sense.  You can probably figure it out if you look at my card.  LOL!  I used the Avery Elle cut file for the compass to create a popped up layer on the card front by welding the compass shape with a rectangle for the bottom of the card.  Clear as mud?  Well here it is to give you a visual:

Stamps:  Knotty (Avery Elle)
Dies/Cuts:  Knotty Digital Cut (Avery Elle)
Inks:  Navy, Cherry (Amuse)
Paper:  Solar White (Neenah)
Misc:  Gold Glitter Tape (American Crafts), 3D Foam Shapes ( Scrapbook Adhesives)

I hope you enjoy the sketch this week and will come play along with us!

  2. Amazingly graphic card, I love it!! My favorite detail is how the North heart is perfectly over the blue stripe. The gold rocks, too!
